About the role

Karen Millen is looking for a Copywriter to join its creative team in London, working with the Head of Creative across marketing, ecommerce and social. You will craft copy for email, social, blog and web, keep the brand tone of voice consistent across every touchpoint, and work with the SEO team on optimised product and page copy. Responsibilities

Craft engaging copy across marketing channels, including email, social media, blog and web
Deliver a consistent and distinctive brand tone of voice across platforms
Tailor messaging to suit different digital platforms, formats and audiences
Write content for the loyalty programme, including competitions, event invitations and a lifestyle newsletter
Collaborate with the SEO team on optimised copy, product and page descriptions and the blog calendar
Write, edit and publish blog posts
Handle reactive daily requests and ad hoc direct mail and out of home copywriting

Essential requirements

Strong writing fundamentals, excellent grammar and exceptional attention to detail
A strong interest in womenswear trends, digital culture and the Karen Millen aesthetic
Highly organised and comfortable taking ownership of high volume, deadline driven tasks
A collaborative attitude with an eagerness to learn, take feedback and develop within a creative team
A genuine interest in fashion and retail

Nice to have

Experience writing for a loyalty programme or newsletter
Familiarity with SEO principles and working alongside a data led SEO team
