Definitions
- The Lab refers to the recruitment platform operated by The Lab Creative Agency Ltd.
- Candidates are individuals seeking employment opportunities.
- Employers are organisations advertising vacancies.
- Users refers to all registered candidates and employers.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on The Lab.
- By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, truthful and kept up to date.
Platform Standards
- The Lab reviews every vacancy before publication to help maintain the quality of opportunities available on the platform.
- We may review, reject, remove or request amendments to any vacancy that does not meet our platform standards.
- Vacancies may also be reviewed periodically to help ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
Job Posting Standards
All vacancies posted on The Lab must meet the following standards:
- Roles must be full-time, permanent and entry-level or early-career appropriate, in the creative industries or related fields.
- Salary must be displayed on every posting. We encourage salaries within the entry-level range of £22,500 to £27,500, or more where appropriate.
- Apply links must direct candidates to the employer's official careers page. Third-party redirects and broken links are not permitted.
- Postings must not discriminate against candidates on any protected characteristic.
- Every vacancy is reviewed every 30 days. Expired or non-compliant postings are removed from public listings.
Applications
- Submitting an application through The Lab does not guarantee an interview, job offer or employment.
- All recruitment decisions are made solely by the employer.
Employer Payments
- The Lab operates on a subscription model for employers.
- We do not charge recruitment commission or placement fees.

Acceptable Use
Users must not:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Upload fraudulent CVs, portfolios or qualifications.
- Harass, abuse or threaten other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform.
- Use the platform for unlawful purposes.
- Copy or misuse another user's information.
Accounts found to be in breach of these Terms may be suspended or permanently removed.
Intellectual Property
- The Lab name, branding, website design, logos, graphics and original content are the intellectual property of The Lab Creative Agency Ltd.
- Employer logos, company names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Limitation of Liability
The Lab is an independent recruitment platform.
Unless explicitly stated, we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any employer featured on the platform.
We are not responsible for:
- Recruitment decisions.
- Employment outcomes.
- Employer conduct.
- Candidate conduct.
- Workplace disputes.
Account Security
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
- If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, you should notify us immediately.
Account Suspension and Deletion
- We may suspend or terminate accounts where these Terms have been breached.
- Users may permanently delete their account at any time through their account settings.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
