About the role
Barlow & Co. is a boutique packaging design agency in Chiswick, West London, specialising in drinks packaging with a focus on wine for some of the UK’s leading drinks retailers. It is hiring a Graphic Design Intern / Graduate to work in the studio full-time alongside its designers, with no previous studio experience required. Responsibilities
- Work alongside the studio designers on live packaging and brand projects
- Respond to creative briefs and contribute your own ideas
- Explore branding, packaging, typography and design for the drinks industry
- Develop technical skills and understanding of the design process
- Build a portfolio while gaining studio experience
Essential requirements
- Graduate in Graphic Design, Illustration or a related creative discipline
- A portfolio of creative work from university or personal projects
- Some familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Curious, organised and eager to learn in a small team
Nice to have
- An interest in wine packaging and label design
- Illustration or photography skills
- Drinks experience or wine label experience
