Graphic Designer
About the role
FROST is a type foundry hiring a full-time Graphic Designer to design type specimens and promotional assets that bring their typefaces to life, alongside commissioned client projects. The role is hybrid, split between the Leicestershire studio and remote working, and suits someone with a deep interest in typography and a sharp eye for typesetting.
Responsibilities
- Design type specimens and promotional assets for the foundry's typefaces
- Work on commissioned design projects alongside the studio team
- Apply close attention to typesetting, layout and detail across every output
- Develop brand and marketing assets that present the typefaces clearly
- Collaborate with the team in the Leicestershire studio and remotely
Nice to have
- Experience designing specimens or editorial layouts
- An interest in learning type design on the job
Requirements
- A portfolio showing strong typographic interest and craft
- Sharp eye for typesetting and high attention to detail
- Confidence with Adobe Creative Suite
- Interest in type design and the foundry's work
