Junior Designer

About the role

Charles Tyrwhitt is hiring a Junior Designer to work alongside the Senior Designer and the wider Creative team, producing design solutions with strong visual impact and clear commercial purpose across digital and print. The role is based in London with hybrid working, and suits a design graduate or emerging designer building a first or second commercial role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for digital marketing deliverables.
  • Design assets for print channels including POS, postcards and press ads.
  • Assist with video editing and versioning for digital and social channels.
  • Prepare print-ready artwork to brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with senior designers and stakeholders across the business.

Essential requirements

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Experience editing video, ideally with Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Understanding of layout, colour theory and typography
  • Ability to prepare print-ready artwork

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for social, paid media or web channels
  • Basic understanding of motion graphics and video formats
  • Experience of print production (POS, postcards, press ads)
