Design Graduate Placement
About the role
The Sky Design Graduate Placement is a 12-month paid programme that gives you hands-on experience in product and experience design. You will join Sky Design, part of the wider Global Design team, working alongside designers, researchers and engineers to turn ideas into real experiences for millions of customers. Across two six-month rotations, you will explore different design disciplines including visual design, UX, user research, motion and interaction design, and AI in design.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside lead and senior designers on live product design projects
- Support UX researchers in planning research and analysing user insights
- Use industry tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and UserZoom
- Develop presentation skills and learn how to communicate design ideas
- Take part in design reviews and learn how to give and receive feedback
Requirements
- Aged 18 or over by October 2026
- Right to work in the UK (Sky does not offer sponsorship)
- A portfolio or examples of previous design work
- Curious, passionate about design, and eager to learn
- No prior industry experience required
